BAS Project Manager - Sacramento, CA - $120K-$150K + Annual Bonus - Leading Mechanical & Building Automation Contractor About the Opportunity

Join one of Northern California's most respected mechanical engineering and construction firms as a BAS Project Manager. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of high-performance Building Automation Systems (BAS) supporting commercial and industrial facilities throughout the Sacramento market.

You'll manage projects from initial planning through turnover-owning scheduling, budget oversight, technical coordination, and client communication. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned BAS professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys full project ownership within a well-established and collaborative organization.

  • Title: BAS Project Manager
  • Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 (DOE)
  • Bonus: Annual company performance bonus (paid every December; missed only once since 2008)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute Building Automation Controls projects from kickoff through closeout
  • Develop and track project budgets, schedules, and financial forecasts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and expectation alignment
  • Maintain control over project costs to meet financial and margin objectives
  • Prepare, review, and process change orders and scope adjustments
  • Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, and internal project support teams
