The Capital Project Manager position is an exciting opportunity to join PM Groupโ€™s quickly growing Outsourced Technical Services(OTS) team at a major life sciences manufacturing site near Baltimore, MD. Outsourced Technical Services (OTS) is an integral part of PM Groupโ€™s ability to support clients across the complete project life cycle. We have over 50 yearsโ€™ industry experience, strong technical knowledge and integrated resources. Clients look to us to provide experienced technical professionals that complement their project teams. Together we are sharing knowledge, learning, growing and continuing to be an integral part of supporting PM Groupโ€™s ongoing expansion in the US.

We're seeking a Capital Project Manager to support capital project execution at a major life sciences manufacturing site. This role will support facility and manufacturing-related projects from scope development through design, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout. This is an onsite role, expected to be 4โ€“5 days per week. The opportunity will be a contract assignment with permanent conversion targeted within the first 3-6 months, based on performance and client needs.

Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have experience managing capital projects in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical manufacturing, food/beverage, specialty chemical, or other regulated/industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Strong facility-side project experience is preferred, including coordination with engineering firms, contractors, vendors, operations, maintenance, quality, and site leadership.
  • Experience with GMP facilities, cleanrooms, utilities, small molecule manufacturing, downstream processing, chromatography, spray drying, or large pharma project governance is a plus, but not required for initial consideration.
  • Ability to be onsite 4-5 days per week
