Site Installation Engineer – Vanderlande Logistics LLCPosition Summary

Vanderlande Logistics LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Site Installation Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, and optimization of our material handling and baggage handling systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring successful system deployment, technical accuracy, and seamless coordination with internal teams, contractors, and airport/warehouse partners.

The Site Installation Engineer will assist with on‑site installation activities, system testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and technical support throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.


Essential Functions (Job Duties & Responsibilities)
  • Support installation, testing, and commissioning of material handling and baggage handling systems.

  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

  • Assist with system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and corrective actions during installation and startup.

  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure installation activities meet project requirements.

  • Monitor installation progress and report deviations, risks, or delays to project leadership.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, site protocols, and Vanderlande installation procedures.

  • Document installation activities, test results, and system performance data.

  • Support system handover activities, including punch‑list completion and final acceptance testing.

  • Provide technical guidance to site personnel and assist with training when required.

  • Maintain accurate records of materials, tools, and equipment used during installation.
