Universal Drywall, a Nevell Group company is looking for an experiencedProject Managerto join our growing team. In this role, you'll manage all aspects of commercial construction projects-leveraging your leadership, communication, and technical expertise to ensure successful outcomes from preconstruction through closeout.


What You'll Do

  • Lead all phases of project execution, from planning to closeout, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Support field operations by coordinating materials, equipment, tools, and critical project information.
  • Review contract conditions and ensure compliance across the project team.
  • Oversee procurement and negotiate cost-effective contracts for labor and materials.
  • Manage project financials: budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and billing.
  • Coordinate closely with internal BIM and field teams to meet project design requirements.
  • Establish efficient workflows for submittals, approvals, documentation, and quality control.
  • Facilitate communication between owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop Project Engineers and other team members.
  • Conduct project walks, safety audits, and progress reviews regularly.
  • Lead project meetings, track progress, mitigate risks, and manage change orders.
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, or 5+ years of progressive experience in the drywall or commercial construction trade.
  • Deep knowledge of commercial construction practices, project scheduling, and cost management.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret architectural plans and technical specifications.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in project management software and construction technologies.
  • Ability to lead teams, mentor junior staff, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
