Job description

The Project Manager serves as the designated representative of the contractor, holding authority to act on behalf of the contractor during the contract term. This individual has full independent financial authority for the purchase of tools, materials, and parts up to $5,000 per occurrence, and is responsible for accepting inspection reports and all correspondence on behalf of the contractor. The Project Manager is present on-site during core facility hours and provides leadership for the operations, maintenance, repair, building alterations, and customer relations requirements of the facility.

Act as the Contractor's representative at the facility, maintaining full authority and responsibility as outlined in the contract Authorize purchases of tools, materials, and parts up to $5,000 per occurrence Receive and acknowledge inspection reports and all other official correspondence Oversee daily operations, maintenance, repair, and building alteration activities Foster positive customer relations and satisfy all operational components relevant to facility management Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual standards Maintain presence on-site during core facility hours.At least four (4) years of recent (within the past five years) responsible experience in managing the operation, maintenance, and repair, building alterations, customer relations, and operational components of a building with at least 400,000 square feet of occupied space Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage budgets and authorize expenditures Secret security clearance Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
