Job description

RQ00725 - Project Manager

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days at HM's discretion) - Location: 100 Bloomington Rd W, Arora, ON

13 months contract (288 business days) + Extension

Project Description

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), through the Communications and Technology Services Bureau (CTSB), is supporting the establishment of a new OPP detachment at Ontario Place. This facility will play a critical role in providing policing services for the revitalized Ontario Place site, as well as assuming responsibility for traffic patrols on the Gardiner Expressway and Don Valley Parkway following their upload to the province. The initiative includes significant technology components, such as call-taking and dispatch systems, telecommunications infrastructure, mobile and in-vehicle technologies, and facility-based IT systems, all of which must meet operational and regulatory requirements under the Community Safety and Policing Act.

Must Haves:

  • Executive-level briefing experience
  • Previous experience in successfully managing infrastructure development projects.
  • Experience with public sector business case/funding acquisition and competitive procurements.
  • Experience managing large-scale, complex, integrated project plans and implementation plans. (mention the budget of projects managed)
  • Experience managing executive relationships and dealing with senior executives.

Extension: Possible 1 yr extension

Travel: This position requires travel
