Duties

  • Experience in heavy civil construction with a strong focus on cost estimation, including preparing accurate bids, analyzing project specifications, and supporting budgeting for large-scale infrastructure projects such as roads, utilities, and site development.

  • Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to monitor progress and adjust timelines proactively.

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Manage project budgets by performing accurate construction estimating, tracking costs, and controlling expenses using HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools.

  • Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to blueprints, schematics, safety protocols, and contractual obligations.

  • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for document control, daily reporting, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders.

  • Review contracts, change orders, and project specifications to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, safety compliance, and resolve issues promptly.

  • Facilitate project meetings to coordinate schedules, address challenges, and communicate updates effectively across teams.
