You will be a member of the Operations Project Management team, supporting Rotary Wing Sensors Programs within the Sensors and Global Sustainment Line of Busines . Your primary role on the team will be the Forecasting & Rate Ramp Lead.
Standard Job Description: Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Forecasting and Rate Ramp Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of production, serving as a liaison between program management, cross-functional teams, and factory leadership.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Forecasting - Build and maintain a rolling 6-24 month forecast for workforce, tooling, equipment, and process capacity across all production centers performing RWS work.
  • Ramp-Readiness Monitoring - Define KPI sets for each center (e.g., hiring velocity, tooling lead-time, equipment availability, process maturity) and track them against plan.
  • Conduct monthly/quarterly ramp/rate reviews with center leaders, surface gaps, and drive corrective action plans.
  • Scenario Modeling - Run "what-if" simulations to evaluate the impact of demand changes, supply constraints, or other introductions on ramp timelines.
  • Facilitate structured improvement events (SIAs), Tiger Team events, or other Kaizen-like events as needed while partnering across all functions including Test Engineering, GSC, Tooling Design, Mechanical Design for Producibility, and PPC to ensure alignment of resources and action plans to unlock rate capability
  • Own visualizations & reporting of ramp-up progress and trends

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in precision / highly-regulated, production, manufacturing, and/or manufacturing environments
  • Technical background and experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, project management, supply chain, and/or production planning and control or related.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization to build consensus, champion change, and deliver results.
  • Ability to achieve objectives through influence and indirect leadership.
  • Data analytics and visualization skills and experience.

Desired Skills
  • Work experience in MFC Production Operations manufacturing centers
  • Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering degree or equivalent experience highly preferred
  • Project management training or certification.
  • Aerospace and Defense production experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma green belt or black belt.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and other defense quality standards.
  • Experience in SAP S4/Hanna and/or Apriso MES.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
