Construction Project Management Resource
Position Type: Full Time, Exempt.
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 annually, DOE.
Location: We are seeking candidates who will support projects throughout Florida. Candidates must reside in one of the following areas: Tampa, FL, or Orlando, FL. This role requires flexibility to manage projects across multiple locations and coordinate work across various sites.

About the Opportunity:
The Construction Project Management Resource position provides managerial oversight to various construction projects, or a series of construction projects, for Skilled Nursing Facilities. Additional responsibilities include Facility Assets Management by aiding the local Maintenance Director of each Skilled Nursing Facility for various facility management related projects. This position is responsible for the overall direction, administration, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects. Oversees, directs, and manages the general contractors and contracted consultants responsible for developing project scope, budget, and schedule, to establish operational priorities for each Skilled Nursing Facility.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop Scopes of Work that pertain to operating and running a Skilled Nursing Home facility. This environment includes all standard commercial construction applications. In addition, Healthcare construction related Scope of Work will be required.
  • In charge of leading the bid process, negotiating/creating a contract, and ensuring all other pre-construction activities are completed prior to construction start.
  • Hold and required construction meetings, prior and during the course of the project.
  • Coordinate with Vendors, Architects and Contractors during the course of construction.
  • Manage, track, and report all project costs to the team. Includes processing invoices and Contractor Pay Applications.
  • Create, implement, and manage the 5-Yr Facility Construction and Maintenance Plan for each building under your stewardship.
  • Develop and train Life Safety Resources and other partners in the area.
  • Conduct site walks and create property evaluations for both existing facilities and new acquisitions as needed.
  • Be a team player willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Must be able to travel in a car and/or airplane as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in Construction or Facilities Project Management required.
  • Facilities or Construction Management experience with a multiple operational locations or General Contractor overseeing small to midsize renovations.
  • Demonstrated experience with performing on site assessments, budget estimates, and successful management of project cost information.
  • Ability to develop scopes of work, Request for Proposals (RFP's), select vendors and monitor projects.
  • Experience directly managing vendors, ensuring accuracy and quality of finished project and validate invoicing.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Suite office programs including Word & Excel).
  • Experience interfacing with cross-functional internal stakeholders within a multi-department environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
  • Frequent travel by car and/or plane is required.
