StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a full time Program/Project/Management Analyst, Journeyman to support a NAVAIR PMA in Patuxent River MD. The Program Analyst will be will be responsible for, but not limited to the following requirements.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives in a timely manner.
  • Works with IPT's to coordinate cross-functional team activities.
  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
  • Actively participates in acquisition round table events and activities and provides valuable input.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Drafting and editing SOW Data Calls.
  • Experience with the NAVAIR Acquisition Management System (AMS) suite of tools.
  • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.

Travel Requirements:
  • Domestic Travel Required.

Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 -10 years of professional experience performing duties described in the functional description.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Programs to include Outlook, Teams, Word, EXCEL, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong ability to coordinate, facilitate and schedule program level meetings while developing agendas and providing required read-ahead information.
  • Proactive, organized, and good people skills.
  • Someone who can help organize and track actions from different platforms and vendors and help identify urgent matters that need attention.

Desired Experience:
  • Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management
  • Experience with Contracts desired.

Education Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree.
  • Allowable Substitutions: Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. OR Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Security Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
