Junior Program/Project Management Analyst
Location: Patuxent River, MD
Work Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required or Ability to Obtain
Travel: Up to 10%

**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**

Support a Major NAVAIR Program Office!

We are seeking a motivated Junior Program/Project Management Analyst to provide on-site support to a major Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Program Management Activity (PMA) located in Patuxent River, Maryland.

Working directly alongside government personnel and industry partners, the selected candidate will support program planning, acquisition management, financial tracking, meeting coordination, executive briefings, and day-to-day program operations for a high-visibility naval aviation program.

This position requires daily on-site support within the program office and offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting Department of Defense acquisition programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support program managers and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) with program execution activities.
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, action item trackers, and status reports.
  • Prepare executive-level briefings, presentations, correspondence, and meeting materials.
  • Coordinate meetings, working groups, technical reviews, and program reviews.
  • Track program milestones, deliverables, and customer action items.
  • Assist with budget tracking, spend plan updates, and financial reporting activities.
  • Maintain program documentation, records, databases, and SharePoint sites.
  • Support data calls, taskers, and information requests from senior leadership.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and capture meeting minutes.
  • Assist with risk, issue, and decision tracking.
  • Support program office operations and administrative activities as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, economics, public administration, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience supporting program management, project management, business operations, acquisition, or administrative functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Active Secret clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs.
  • Familiarity with NAVAIR, Naval Aviation, or defense acquisition environments.
  • Experience using SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, or project management tools.
  • Military service or defense contractor experience.

Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Maryland Pay Transparency: $72,000 - $88,000.
