Marketing Project Specialist

The Opportunity: Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career.

The Marketing Project Specialist is responsible for organizing and successfully managing numerous projects for the TJX brands. This role includes overseeing timelines and milestone management of assigned projects and initiatives provided by the Project Management Supervisor or Marketing Project Manager. It also involves consolidating and effectively communicating feedback and ensuring smooth cross channel information flow. This position will coordinate and manage timelines with some leadership team members, cross-channel team members, both internal and external, and any assigned project participants, while adhering to project management processes and strategies.

Who We Are Looking For: You.

  • Oversee print, e-commerce, digital and social projects within an existing marketing process.
  • Responsible for overseeing collaborative creative projects spanning print, e-commerce, social, and motion graphics in alignment with strategic vision as developed by collaborators.
  • Partner with team collaborators to create accurate landmarks and timelines that work for the team.
  • Maintain a clear and reasonable view of the project during meetings, conversations, or when requirements of the project occur.
  • In partnership with Supervisor, identify priorities and barriers to balance scope & needs, as the project develops throughout the creative process; provide recommendations for problem resolutions, when needed.
  • Review content throughout the approval process to ensure quality, consistency and project specifications are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Public Relations or Communications preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years project management, traffic or marketing experience managing creatives, preferably in an agency or a corporate advertising environment.
  • Knowledge of print, e-commerce, social and media process and timetables preferred
  • Ability to handle an integrated workload of print, e-commerce, social and motion graphic projects to support the business needs.
  • Must be detail oriented, resourceful, flexible and can meet multiple deadlines in an ever-changing environment
  • Ability to move projects through milestones of creative development, approval, revisions and delivery
  • A dynamic self-starter with a strong work ethic, who understands all aspects of a project.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Project Management applications such as Workfront, Workgroups, Project, Basecamp, Smartpath or another workflow software preferred

This position has a starting pay range of $26.90 to $35.65 per hour.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
