Project Manager

Location: Jersey City / Tampa / Dallas

Skills:

  • Support Project ION by executing all aspects of the project management lifecycle for initiatives assigned to you, while adhering to standards and tools defined by the organization.
  • Support the IT SIFMU Department by providing financial and process related reporting to drive proactive checks of project and assets health.
  • Work closely with business partners and Agile teams to understand needs, define multi-functional plans, and plan delivery and releases.
  • Be a risk manager for your projects: lead risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Clear the path/advance accordingly to help your partners achieve success.
  • Work with your project team to coordinate and facilitate partner meetings, as needed.
  • Measure project performance, financial health and provide reporting transparency at various levels.
  • Optimally lead partner relationships and team collaboration.
  • Handle resource task and timesheets for projects, KTLOs and Small Enhancements.
  • Work with other project managers to drive better efficiencies.
  • Help achieve automation for repetitive process tasks in collaboration with business partners.
  • Be available to meet and collaborate with teams in different time zones.
  • Desired Industry Knowledge & Years of Experience:

    • Minimum of five (5) years in a project management role; able to demonstrate experience using project management standard methodologies to successfully deliver business initiatives that achieved the desired outcomes - proficient with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Client PPM, Jira).
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • PMP certification preferred.
    • Agile Scrum certification desired.
    • Proficient with MS Office suite (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
