Job description

“High-Fiver” Wanted: Implementation Project Manager (PMP required)

Are you the type of person who always goes the extra mile? Are you passionate about your craft and always striving to improve? Do you get so excited when a project is completed and the customer is happy that you high-five the person next to you? If so, you are exactly who we are looking for.

We are looking for a motivated, detail-driven Implementation Project Manager to join our high-five team and help enterprise car wash operators convert from legacy point-of-sale systems to AMP Clarity hardware and software.

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day execution of client implementations under the direction of the Head of Implementation. You will own project schedules, coordinate field teams and hardware logistics, track risks and dependencies, and keep clients informed and confident from kickoff through go-live and stabilization. This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who is organized, proactive, and energized by seeing a project run smoothly to a happy customer. Success in this role looks like on-time go-lives, clean user acceptance sign-offs, and clients who stay and grow with AMP.

You will partner closely with internal stakeholders including the Head of Support, Operations Coordinator, Head of Account Management, and Product team to deliver clean, well-sequenced deployments. As you grow in the role, you will take on increasing autonomy and larger or more complex accounts.

About AMP (An NCS Company)

AMP is an industry-leading technology company providing innovative solutions to car wash operators across the country. Our products include cutting-edge software solutions such as white-labeled mobile membership apps, administrative portals, and kiosks. These solutions allow our customers to capture and use customer data at a level not seen in the car wash industry before.

AMP is a division of National Carwash Solutions (NCS). NCS has grown to become North America’s largest equipment, service, and cleaning solutions provider in the car wash industry. For over five decades, National Carwash Solutions (NCS) has revolutionized the car wash industry, offering unparalleled quality and innovative technology. NCS offers the most extensive service network and is home to many trusted brands. Whether customers are new to the industry or are looking to level up a classic site, NCS is the proven partner for operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Our family of brands includes MacNeil, Ryko, Vacutech, PurClean, TSS, Rain-X, ArmorAll, Black Magic, Blue Coral, USA Towel, International Drying Corporation & Shadow.

Why work for us?

We have one of the most supportive and sustainable cultures anywhere. Our team of lifelong learners has a thirst for knowledge and a passion for technology and software. We're dedicated to building world-class solutions for our customers, and at the same time, place a high value on team rewards and personal career growth. We enjoy working together to solve challenging problems, teaching each other through lunch-and-learns, and celebrating victories (even the small ones) along the way.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Execution and Coordination

• Own assigned client implementations from internal kickoff through project close and handoff to account management, escalating high-impact risks and decisions to the Head of Implementation.

• Maintain detailed, accurate project plans outlining milestones, dependencies, and site-level readiness.

• Coordinate field implementation team members, confirming deployment timing, scope, and readiness across sites.

• Adjust schedules to accommodate client changes, construction delays, shipping shifts, weather events, or other unforeseen factors.

Risk and Issue Management

• Identify, track, and clearly communicate project risks, dependencies, and issues across hardware, software, staffing, and scheduling workstreams.

• Synthesize issues from on-site teams into structured action items with clear owners and due dates.

• Provide regular, organized status updates to internal leadership and client stakeholders.

Client and Stakeholder Communication

• Support and, over time, lead recurring client meetings, driving agenda, accountability, and forward momentum.

• Maintain a strong, positive client relationship throughout the conversion process, including when navigating challenges.

Software Onboarding and Client Launch

• Drive the software onboarding workstream for each client: third-party account setup and access (Stripe, Google and Apple app stores, Twilio), development of brand assets for the customer-facing app, and upload of operational setup information (locations, wash packages, membership levels, pricing).

• Coordinate mapping and loading of legacy car wash members into AMP, manage draft app delivery and demo, and run user acceptance testing through client sign-off.

Strategic and Internal Initiatives

• Support strategic internal projects beyond client implementations, such as new product launches, AI strategy rollout, and platform migrations.

• Bring project management discipline to cross-functional internal programs: planning, documentation, status communication, retrospectives, and project close-out.

Continuous Improvement

• Document lessons learned, refine implementation playbooks and templates, and adopt new tools as the team grows.

Skills we expect you to have for your position

• 5 or more years of project management or implementation experience

• PMP certification required

• Bachelor's degree

• Experience coordinating hardware and/or software implementations, ideally across multiple sites or stakeholders

• Strong written and verbal communication with high professionalism in client-facing situations

• Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong follow-through while managing multiple priorities

• Ability to define and balance competing demands for quality, scope, schedule, and cost

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, monday.com, and AI tools such as Claude

• Willingness to travel up to 25% for client kickoffs, go-lives, and site visits

• Car wash, POS, or field-deployment experience a plus

Benefits you deserve:

• Highly competitive salary with tremendous opportunity for growth

• Annual performance bonus

• 401K plan with company matching

• Excellent medical, dental, and vision insurance

• Generous PTO plus Safe and Sick time
