What You'll Be Doing as a Project Manager
Clean Power Research is seeking an experienced and focused Project Manager to lead mission critical Software as a Service (SaaS) implementations across our growing energy industry customer base.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects that configure, deploy, and onboard our utility customers to our SaaS products as well as collaborating with Sales, Business Development, Product, and Delivery teams during the pre-sales phase to contribute to proposals and Statements of Work (SOW). This is a fantastic opportunity to work cross-functionally and make a real difference in the way utility companies operate.
Your expertise will be crucial in defining and orchestrating project scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder alignment. You will work closely with the customer's Project Manager to ensure that each implementation not only meets but exceeds customer expectations and business goals. You will anticipate and mitigate project risks, manage project escalations, and handle change order processes with finesse.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate internal resources, working with various stakeholders, for flawless planning and execution of projects
  • Develop appropriately detailed project plans and track progress
  • Perform risk management and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Conduct project kick-off meetings to make sure all contributors and stakeholders are aligned
  • Lead multiple concurrent cross-functional SaaS project initiatives from planning through execution
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget and deliverables from contract signing through launch, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate regular working sessions, status updates, and tailored training for diverse audiences
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Executives on budget and cost tracking
  • Secure other supporting Clean Power Research resources, as required to meet and exceed deliverables along the project timeline (e.g., engineering resources for customer-funded custom features)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes and quality standards
Who You Are
  • 4+ years of experience in project management, preferably with a proven track record of leading cross-functional software implementations for complex SaaS (cloud) solutions
  • Well experienced across all phases, from pre-sales to project planning and execution, including stakeholder coordination and delivery oversight
  • BA/BS degree, in a business, technical or scientific field required
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Experience optimizing business processes, ideally with exposure to utility workflows such as utility interconnection, distribution planning, forecasting, and reporting preferred
  • Deep organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain high attention to detail, and ensure data quality.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools including MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Copilot, and Planner and comfortable working with virtual whiteboarding tools such as Mural
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to automate research, support content development, and enhance project documentation and communication
  • Genuine passion for clean energy technology, solar and other renewable energy

Pay Range & Benefits
  • Base Salary Range: $85,000 to $120,000 annual depending on experience
