Position: Ticket Sales Intern (UNPAID INTERNSHIP)
Location: Onsite Required- Eastern Kentucky Athletics (Richmond, KY)
Hours: 25 hours per week minimum
Duration: August - December 2026

Position Overview
The Ticket Sales Intern will play a key role in supporting revenue generation efforts for Eastern Kentucky Athletics. This position provides hands-on experience in ticket sales operations within a collegiate athletic environment. Interns will assist in developing and implementing ticket sales strategies, executing outreach initiatives, and providing support for game-day hospitality and operations.
This is an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking to build a foundation in sports sales, client relations, and working within a college athletic department.
Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Development: Participate in training sessions to learn effective sales and customer engagement strategies tailored to the sports industry.
  • Prospect Outreach: Research potential ticket buyers and group leads; assist with outbound communications and follow-up activities.
  • Campaign Execution: Support the planning and implementation of single-game, season, and group ticket campaigns designed to increase attendance and revenue.
