Job description

Position Type: Part-Time Internship (approximately 15 hours per week)

Compensation: $20/hr
Location: Omaha, NE - Hybrid

The job:

Great brand experiences help builders, partners and industry pros feel connected, supported and ready to grow. As a Brand Engagement Intern at Buildertrend, you will support the planning, coordination and execution of events and brand experiences across a growing portfolio. You will gain hands-on experience in event marketing, project management and experiential branding while helping bring programs like the International Builders' Show, Builderbond events, Home Builders Association engagements, The Summit by CBUSA and other regional and national events to life. Your work will help create organized, thoughtful experiences that make it easier for attendees to engage with our brand and walk away with something valuable.

What you will do:

  • Support planning, logistics and project coordination for national, regional and customer-facing events.
  • Help coordinate venues, catering, travel details, event materials and branded merchandise.
  • Maintain event timelines, task lists and planning documents so teams know what is happening and when.
  • Assist with event setup and management in tools such as Cvent, Wrike and Microsoft Teams.
  • Draft and proofread invitations, reminders, follow-up messages, agendas and attendee resources.
  • Support on-site setup, registration, attendee questions, vendor coordination and real-time event needs.
  • Collect feedback, track attendance and engagement, and help build event recaps with recommendations for what comes next.

Who you are and what you need:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in marketing, communications, event management, business, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Strong organization, communication and time management skills, with a sharp eye for details.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, follow timelines and ask thoughtful questions when details change.
  • Comfortable writing clear, polished messages for different audiences.
  • Interested in event marketing, B2B marketing, SaaS, residential construction or customer experiences.
  • Experience with Cvent or project management tools such as Wrike, Asana or Monday.com is helpful, but not required.
  • Embrace using AI as a tool to enhance your work, whileremainingopen to learning, applying critical thinking, and owning the quality of your final work.
