We are looking for a talented Specialist II, Training Development to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop interactive web/computer-based content and instructor led/facilitated training for complex electromechanical equipment, including needs assessment, learning objectives, student certification, tracking and follow-up measurement.
  • Work with subject matter experts, engineers, and trainers to create engaging, interactive, instructionally sound courses that meet their business needs.
  • Convert existing courses to modular format (basic, intermediate and advanced levels), create and update instructor guides and student handouts.
  • Create table-based quizzes for the classroom using an interface template.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design/education or a technical field is required
  • 3+ years of experience creating new web-based courses, simulations, and instructor-led courses
  • Experienced in multiple industry authoring and publishing tools including Articulate Storyline 360 & SuccessFactors
  • Experience with Criterion Referenced Instruction and/or Performance Based Equipment Training methodologies is a plus.

Competencies:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects with little supervision
  • Project management skills - time management, stakeholder management, & scope management.
  • Interpersonal skills - experienced in influencing others, written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
