Sr. Associate, Project Management (Hybrid)

As a Project Manager at Capital One, you can achieve results you never thought possible by working on critical and strategic business projects. In this exciting role you will work with key business leaders and customers as part of the DaaS Acquisitions Delivery Team, to develop clear business intent, manage project plans, identify risks for intent execution, and build key components to bring new products to market.

General Responsibilities:

  • Build, understand, and document requirements to help guide users through a new product lifecycle

  • Develop and maintain process documentation and drive continuous process improvements

  • Perform quality assurance checks on actions taken to ensure accuracy

  • Assist in the development of mitigation plans and monitors the progression of findings against their mitigation plans to ensure timely closure

  • Communicate clearly with messaging tailored to audience

  • Day-to-day oversight of workload with minimal supervision

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

  • At least 2 years of Project Management experience

  • At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience

  • 2+ years of Operations support experience

  • 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry

  • Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification

  • Strong communication, problem solving and collaboration skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Richmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Project Manager











Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
