Job Description
ATANE is seeking a Senior Inspector in our New Jersey office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise Inspectors Level I and/or Level II
  • Attends various meetings as needed related to assigned construction projects.
  • Perform inspections on large, complex or multiple projects.
  • Submit detailed documentation of daily construction activities.
  • Assist with coordination of required project acceptance testing.
  • Perform materials inspection and acceptance prior to installation.
  • Points out potential problems to the contractor and project engineer, and keeps project engineer and supervisor informed of progress of project.
  • Responsible for job specific quality system tasks as defined in quality manual.
  • Submit extensive written reports and documentation. Construction reports and logs are written and filed daily.
  • Review contractor payments.
  • Monitor contractors compliance with safety plan requirements.
  • Training of Inspectors I & II.
  • Perform other duties as may be required.
