Job description

Our goal at Bourbon Tile & Marble, Inc.  is to provide the best quality tile & stone installations in the Chicagoland area and beyond. 


As the fourth and fifth generations of Bourbon’s working in the tile and stone industry, we have extensive knowledge and experience in our trades for both commercial and residential applications and can provide expert advice and solutions for any project large or small.

We work closely with our clients from start to completion of a project, always delivering superior installations, products and services with the utmost professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze plans and specifications and prepare detailed take-offs.
  • Prepare construction documents, including bids, schedules of values, and purchase orders.
  • Manage submittals, shop drawings, and material samples.
  • Request supplier pricing; prepare purchase orders; order and track materials.
  • Coordinate shop fabrication with delivery drivers and job site foreman; prepare delivery tickets.
  • Compile schedules and coordinate with general contractors regarding material delivery requirements.
  • Communicate with clients, designers, and building management through all phases of construction, providing updates and addressing questions or concerns.
  • Track and manage construction change orders.
  • Collaborate with project foreman to manage projects

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant construction industry experience.
  • Ability to read plans and specifications and perform accurate take-offs.
  • Proficient in construction drawing/drafting and Microsoft Office;
  • Ability to learn industry-specific estimating software
  • Experience with construction documents, including contract documents, field measurements, as-builts, and construction administration software
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills with attention to detail.
