THE COMPANY
Our client is an engineering firm with offices across DFW, Atlanta, and Chicago, delivering site civil, infrastructure, and land development projects for public agencies and private developers.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The firm is hiring Project Engineers across all three offices to support senior engineers and project managers on technical delivery. This role is well-suited to an engineer looking to grow into project leadership while working on a range of active projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support senior engineers with design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and permitting submittals
  • Coordinate with contractors, subconsultants, and field staff during construction administration
  • Track project budgets, schedules, and deliverables; flag risks early
  • Respond to RFIs and review submittals during construction
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and confirm compliance with design intent
  • Support proposal development and client communications as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial are preferred
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience; EIT certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable communicating with contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies
  • Ability to manage multiple project tasks and deadlines
