About the Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented and driven Project Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll support the successful execution of construction projects by providing technical expertise, coordinating project activities, and ensuring alignment with plans, budgets, and schedules,

What You'll Do
    • Support the project management team in overseeing construction projects from start to finish
    • Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate execution
    • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain alignment with project scope and timelines
    • Prepare and manage project submittals, including materials, equipment, and shop drawings
    • Maintain and organize project documentation such as RFIs, change orders, daily reports, and schedules
    • Monitor project budgets, costs, and schedules to help ensure projects remain on track
    • Conduct site visits to evaluate progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards
    • Assist with procurement of materials, equipment, and services to support project needs
    • Track project progress and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
    • Ensure adherence to quality control standards and assist with project closeout activities
    • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall project performance
    • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

Position Requirements
What You Bring
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
    • 2-4 years of experience in construction engineering or project management (heavy civil experience preferred)
    • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards
    • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
    • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams
