Job description

Job Description:
Detail-oriented, reliable, creative team player to assist in managing maintenance & reliability and capital projects. You may be assigned projects from award to closeout or projects at various stages of development. This position may reside at one of our client sites or from our office in Lisle, IL.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Support the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and controlling assigned aspects of projects.
Work hand in hand with Project Managers, various engineering disciplines, Estimators, Contractor Foremen and General Superintendentsย 
Technical communication/coordination lead across all engineering disciplines, Clients, General Contractors, Vendors, Subcontractors, and Management Staff
Developing Scopes of Work for construction of engineered designs
Make sure projects are following scope and schedule
Processing submittals from vendors to working through revision and equipment releasing
Lead Client and Contractor interface, schedule/attend meetings, and provide written reports
Assist in constructability planning, proposal, and estimate development

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering preferred)
Experience: 5+ years of engineering consulting experience supporting the oil & gas, chemical, renewable energy & power, and manufacturing industries
Technical Skills: Scheduling and planning software experience preferred
Background in assisting project development and execution
Management: Experience leading small teams requiredย 
Other Skills: Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing projects

You must possess physical mobility (on the ground and at heights).
You may be required to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
You may be required to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off platforms/scaffolding/ladders using the appropriate and required fall protection.ย ย 
You must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold, and wind) while wearing the appropriate PPE. This may include but not be limited to a hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, and leather, steel-toed work boots.ย ย 
You may be required to position yourself to work in confined spaces
You may be required to adhere to a client's random drug testing program prior to entering their site.
You may be required to meet a client's facial hair safety policy prior to entering their site.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $125,000 annually
The above pay range represents a general guideline; however, Brindley considers several factors when determining base salary that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, certifications, specific work location, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonus and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans in addition to base pay to reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results.ย
