Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects from planning through completion. This role involves coordinating with project teams, managing project documentation, assisting with scheduling and procurement, tracking project progress, supporting financial documentation, and helping ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and according to contract requirements.

Team Support

Project Coordination
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Assist with communication and coordination between all project participants.
- Help identify cost-saving opportunities and constructability improvements.
- Participate in industry networking events when needed.
Project Planning, Scheduling, and Procurement
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules.
- Coordinate material procurement and help prevent delivery delays.
- Track material deliveries and verify they meet project specifications and contract requirements.
Document Control
- Prepare, review, maintain, and distribute project documentation, including:
- Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Submittals
- Specifications
- Construction documents
- Architect's Supplemental Instructions (ASIs)
- Closeout documentation
- Prepare meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and action item lists.
- Assist in preparing subcontractor agreements, trade partner scope documents, and vendor documentation.
- Help track project budgets, change orders, and other financial documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Project Engineer Intern in the construction, engineering, or architecture industry.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively with project teams and external stakeholders.
- Proactive, resourceful, and willing to take ownership of assigned work.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting commercial construction projects.
- Experience with project scheduling, procurement, document control, and project financial tracking.
- Experience coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients.
- Knowledge of construction documentation, contract documents, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
- Demonstrated ability to identify workflow improvements and increase project efficiency.
