Project Engineer

Project Engineer (Commercial Construction)
Location: Duluth, GA (Atlanta Metro Area)
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 (salary depends on experience) 


Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role works closely with Project Managers and field teams to assist with project coordination, documentation, and overall execution.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of construction experience and is looking to grow within a fast-paced general contractor environment.

Our client is an established GC known for strong preconstruction planning, cost control, and quality project delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with project coordination and execution
  • Track RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Review drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness
  • Support scheduling, budgeting, and procurement efforts
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of construction experience (internship or full-time)
  • Basic understanding of commercial construction processes
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
