Position Summary:
Sonic Industries, Inc. is a leading aerospace fastener company. RBC Bearings is a well-known international manufacturer and marketer of highly engineered precision plain, roller and ball bearings. We have been providing bearing solutions to our customers since 1919. Sonic Industries has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer Trainee. The Manufacturing Engineer Trainee utilizes a wide range of knowledge and skills to participate in Quality Engineering and Continuous Improvement projects and programs.
Key Position Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following and must be performed with limited supervision:
  • QE support of Prime Customers for first articles and corrective action;
  • Reviewing contracts, specifications, purchase orders, and planning;
  • Planning and implementing quality initiatives throughout the organization;
  • Managing & tracking MRB & RMA's;
  • Performing internal & external audits;
  • Participating in RCCA investigations as required;
  • Assist in supplier quality support and development.
  • Implement and Manage QMS software

Individual must have:
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Material or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • Be an individual who is a self-starter, motivated and resourceful, in addition to being detail oriented and possess a good work ethic.
  • Be able to communicate with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
  • Have a positive attitude and a desire to learn.

ITAR Requirement:
Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) or a Foreign Person for whom a license is obtained.
