Job description

You will be the Facilities Engineer / Project Manager for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Archbald PA. Our team is responsible for delivering technical solutions and providing projectlevel problem solving across the Archbald site.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Facilities Engineer / Project Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

  • Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects. Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.

  • Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines.

  • Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

  • Supports Field Engineering and provides technical support throughout the project. Will interface with production and technical operations to support and design projects. Provides technical solutions and problem solving for a wide range of projects. Works closely with other facilities engineers and actively participates in unit improvement processes.

  • Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
