What Will You Do?
1. The Project Engineer will support all engineering aspects of specific projects identified as business critical and/or require significant and dedicated engineering support to ensure the customer's specifications are fully understood and all requirements are satisfied through the course of the project.
2. Coordinate with the Project Manager and all necessary functional groups to ensure the engineering responsibilities are completed correctly and on-schedule.
  • Reviews specifications and supports the technical portion of proposal generation for business critical projects.
    • Successfully completes many engineering tasks in support of highly specified projects, and coordinates the completion of many others through close communication with the appropriate engineering teams.
    • Develops project engineering objectives by reviewing customer specifications, project proposals, purchase orders, and other forms of project requirement documentation.
    • Supervises progress of the assigned engineering tasks.
    • Determines project specifications by analyzing product design, customer specifications, and regulatory compliance standards.
    • Completes technical studies and prepares cost estimates.
    • Determines project schedule assuring compliance to specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
    • Assists Project Manager in keeping the overall project on schedule by monitoring and reporting on the progress of engineering tasks, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
    • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing project data. Recommends corrective actions as required.
    • Collaborates with the customer as well as operations, applications engineering and other engineering departments to identify and troubleshoot problems.
    • Performs other engineering related duties as assigned.
  • Minimal domestic travel to customer sites or trade shows. Approximately 5%.
  • Hybrid, four days onsite, one day remote after probationary period.
