Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $60,000 annually with per diem (salaried)

Location: Carlsbad, NM with the potential to be relocated in the future as projects require.

Great Basin Industrial is seeking for a skilled Field Engineer to join our dynamic team in Carlsbad, New Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible for providing engineering support and field coordination across various projects within our Industrial Electrical team, ensuring efficient operation and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project execution by interpreting drawings and specifications for field crews
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders
  • Assist in preparing work plans, reports, and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Manage material orders and scheduling tasks on site
  • Prepare & submit invoices weekly
  • Manage time entry & production reports

Requirements

  • A strong foundation in math, especially regarding accounting & finances
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Flexibility to travel as required by projects
  • Demonstrated leadership or team coordination experience is desirable
  • Ability to pass mandatory drug and alcohol screenings
