Job Summary: The Project Engineer will work within various aspects of the construction industry in conjunction with the Project Management and Estimating teams on various projects.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Issue requests for information (RFI’s) to clients.
  • Maintain shipping & project schedules.
  • Write purchase orders and subcontracts to vendors.
  • Coordinate scope with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and issuing change order request pricing.
  • Review design drawing revisions for scope changes.
  • Jobsite visits where you will interact with clients and vendors as well as take measurements of existing conditions.
  • Construction drawing/modeling coordination and submittal review.
  • Work with onsite subcontractors to identify and resolve field issues.
  • Material procurement and production tracking.
  • Adherence to Behavioral and Conduct standards.
  • Adherence to Safety protocols & all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements::
  • Minimum 2-year associate’s degree.
  • High level competency in Bluebeam, PDF’s, Microsoft Project, Excel and Word, and common computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields preferred.
  • Some experience in the construction or engineering industry through work, possibly internships or part time employment preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to jobsites and stay overnight if need be.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn quickly.
