Job description

Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you will assist the Project Manager and Superintendents in preparing documentation and ensuring smooth project execution from procurement to completion. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and understand project plans and
  • Gather submittal data and shop drawings from
  • Review subcontractor submittals to ensure compliance with project plans and
  • Utilize software such as Prolog and Submittal Exchange to input and track submittal
  • Obtain and review subcontractor/vendor quotes, submitting them for Project Manager
  • Create and maintain logs using all Specification Sections in coordination with Project Managers and clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, ).
  • Order materials and assist with material takeoffs in collaboration with the Site
  • Support the Project Manager and Site Superintendent in scheduling, tracking, issue management, risk management, change management, and status reporting.
  • Create agendas for weekly meetings and internal project
  • Prepare and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) and follow through to final
  • Perform other related duties as

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with project management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional
