Providence Infrastructure Consultants has an immediate opening for a Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Project Engineer to join our team in New Braunfels, Texas. The position is for a full-time, in-person, project engineer position. This is an excellent and challenging opportunity to join a stable and growing company that facilitates career enhancement and provides mentorship at all levels. POSITION FUNCTION
Project Engineer responsible for being an integral part of the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects including pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, and planning projects. In this role, applicant will be responsible to support:
  • Project managers, other project engineers, and outside subconsultants.
  • The development of project budgets and workplans.
  • Coordination with permitting and approval agencies.
  • The completion of technical evaluations / calculations.
  • The preparation of specifications, drawings and construction cost opinions.
  • Construction support services.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
  • 0-10 years of applicable experience.
  • Actively pursuing professional registration as an Engineering In Training or Professional Engineer.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with others to deliver projects as a team.
