Job description

Seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our Dayton, Ohio office as a full-time Electrical Project Engineer.  This role will is ideal for an experienced industrial electrician, foreman, or project engineer ready to transition into a Construction Management role.  The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented and driven individual with strong hands-on field experience in industrial electrical systems.  Working under the direct supervision of a project manager, you will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and execution of industrial construction projects start to finish.
Responsibilities:
• Select installation materials per engineer specifications and package submittals that meet contract requirements.
• Coordinate and track the delivery of materials and equipment to meet project deadlines.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to ensure equipment meets project specifications.
• Review 3rd party equipment submittals to ensure electrical installation meets the contract requirements.
• Create conduit schedules and point to point wire termination schedules for field use.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years prior experience as an Electrical Foreman, Superintendent, or similar Construction Management role in an industrial electrical construction field.
• Solid understanding of the NEC National Electrical Code and other NFPA Publications; 70E Electrical Safety in the workplace.
• Strong comprehension in reading blueprints, one-line diagrams, ladder logic, loop-sheets, and schematics for various systems.
• Proficient in using relevant software, primarily Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, with experience in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
