Jumpstart Your Construction Career with Dome!

Now Hiring: Project Engineer (Entry-Level)
San Francisco, CA | Full-Time | On-Site & Office Blend

Ready to build your future with one of California's most respected construction firms? At Dome Construction, we're not just constructing buildings-we're building people, careers, and long-term success stories.

We're on the hunt for a Project Engineer-someone who's eager to learn, excited to contribute, and ready to get their hands dirty (literally and figuratively). Whether you've got a degree in Construction Management or just a serious passion for the industry, we want to hear from you.

  What You'll Do

As a Project Engineer at Dome, you'll be the bridge between the field and the office, keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently. You'll work closely with seasoned Project Managers and Superintendents to bring complex commercial and industrial construction projects to life.

Here's what your day might include:

  • Coordinating with architects, engineers, trade partners, and clients
  • Walking active job sites, identifying and solving issues before they become problems
  • Managing key documentation like RFIs, submittals, and project logs
  • Supporting schedules, logistics, and financial tracking
  • Promoting safety and ensuring compliance with industry regulations
 Who You Are

You're detail-oriented, organized, and hungry to learn. You're just as comfortable analyzing blueprints in the office as you are walking job sites with a hard hat on. You love solving problems, staying ahead of schedules, and working with a team to make big things happen.

Bonus points if you:

  • Have 0-3 years of experience in construction or engineering roles
  • Know your way around Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools
  • Have experience (or a strong interest) in commercial, industrial, or tenant improvement projects
  • Are pursuing-or have completed-a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (but it's not a deal-breaker if you don't)
  Why Join Dome?

At Dome, we do things differently:

  • Training & Development: We invest in you from Day 1. Learn from the best and grow your career fast.
  • Diverse Projects: From biotech labs to tech campuses, you'll be exposed to a wide range of cutting-edge projects.
  • Supportive Team Culture: We believe in collaboration, mentorship, and having each other's backs.
  • Real-World Impact: You won't just sit behind a desk-you'll be in the field, helping deliver projects that make a difference.
 Perks & Logistics
  • Blend of office + fieldwork (never a boring day!)
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and room to grow
  Equal Opportunity Employer

At Dome Construction, we're proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

 Ready to Build Your Legacy?

If you're passionate about construction and eager to take the first big step in your career, let's build something great together.
