Job description

The Principal Electrical Facilities Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for driving electrical design, capital projects, and infrastructure reliability across Goodyear’s global facilities. This role provides expert guidance, ensures compliance with industry standards, and supports innovation to enhance operational performance.

What You Will Do
  • Lead electrical design and execution for capital projects and facility improvements.
  • Provide technical expertise in power distribution systems, including substations, transformers, and high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems.
  • Develop global electrical standards and support commissioning and project execution.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and operational performance.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related STEM field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and NFPA, IEC, and IEEE standards.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools.
  • Proven project leadership, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 20%.
