Job description

About the role:

As an entry-level Electrical Engineer I you will provide electrical engineering design and analysis for nuclear products and projects.

You will report to the Engineering Manager of Operating Plants Electrical Engineering. You will be located at our Columbia, SC location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use knowledge obtained from previous applicable experience and core college courses.
  • Work with Software Packages such as ETAP, Mathcad, Maximo, or similar.
  • Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products and projects including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring.
  • Work with other internal departments on similar engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
  • Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements.
  • Use standards, techniques, procedures, and criteria for development of engineering design documents including technical evaluations, obsolete parts equivalencies, calculations, and specifications necessary to support operating plants.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Willing to travel to client sites
