Job description

Firm that specializes in assisting public, private, and institutional owners to manage the design and construction of their real estate projects is seeking a Project Engineer for a project involving a manufacturing facility in southeastern, South Carolina.
The Project Engineer will provide support for the Project Manager including reviewing and processing submittals, reviewing contractor schedule submissions, monitoring construction work, reviewing requisitions for payment, and evaluating change order proposals. The Project Engineer will manage small projects as assigned by the Project Manager.
Candidates should have:
  • At least five years' experience as a Project Engineer,
  • Experience as a Project Engineer on large, complicated building projects,
  • Experience on at least one project involving the construction or renovation of a manufacturing facility,
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, and
  • Experience utilizing construction management, estimating, and scheduling software.

The candidate should have a degree in architecture or engineering. Preference will be given to candidates that are located in the southeastern South Carolina area.
