Job description

CFE, Inc. has been a leader in the commercial roofing business for over 40 years. We are seeking a detail oriented Project Manager that will manage assigned projects to help insure our core values of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all Safety Policies and Procedures, be an example, and support the company safety goals and objectives.
  • Review all project documents prior to job start up to gain full understanding of the project.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects from planning stages through completion and final payment.
  • Insure that required bonds, shop drawings, and submittals are completed, and that all required materials are ordered and delivered to the job site on a timely basis.
  • Visit job-sites on a regular basis, attend project meetings, and resolve problems with owners, their representatives and designers.
  • Look for ways to improve project profitability without sacrificing safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep supervisor informed about significant problems and accomplishments.
  • Stay current on new developments in roofing and sheet metal technology.
  • Occasionally attend pre-bid meetings and conduct pre-job roof inspections.
  • Provide strong support to foremen and crews to insure they have the information, materials, tools, and equipment required to do the job.  Prepare and conduct foreman pre-job meeting.

Position Requirements:

  • Five years of commercial construction experience
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Must have a willingness to work outdoors during normal work hours
