This role is an Onsite Role: This role requires full-time presence at our Oxford, North Carolina office.
Overview:
  • The Sr Project Engineering Manager leads assigned capital projects supporting manufacturing and engineering initiatives.
    • Research, develop, and implement new manufacturing technologies, equipment, tooling, and automation for new and established products.
    • Contract and manage outside equipment construction services.
    • Work with R&D, marketing, packaging, suppliers and plants to execute manufacturing friendly new product launches.
    • Provide technical support to manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and develop automation and manufacturing concepts, including justification, technical feasibility, specifications, timeline and cost for existing and new products.
  • Lead and coordinate the design, development and installation of equipment that will give Revlon unique technological capabilities and products.
  • Participate with R&D, marketing, packaging and industrial engineering in the creation and development of new products.
  • Interface with internal stakeholders during all phases of the project development and implementation to insure that the final results meet their expectations.
  • Provide technical specifications for equipment to be purchased. Conduct acceptance testing at fabricator facility.
  • Identify and evaluate cost saving opportunities.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in commercial packaging equipment and processes.
  • Design and manage the building of equipment working with outside machine shops and equipment vendors
  • Manage implementation of machine modifications, tooling and upgrades to meet changing production requirements.
  • Utilize project management tools in the developing and execution of projects.
  • Participate in formulating directions, ideas, policies and plans for the Engineering and Automation department.
  • Supervise machine start up and training; provide manuals.
  • Supervise equipment validation process.
  • Maintain accurate engineering records including "as built" drawings and documentation.

Qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of experience
  • Thorough technical knowledge of packaging equipment and systems.
  • Project management skills.
  • Machine design capability utilizing CAD
  • Ability to lead, motivate and organize professional and craft workforce.
  • Ability to methodically troubleshoot complex systems and equipment.

Shift hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

The base pay range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 / year; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short-term incentives as part of total compensation.
Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Employees are covered by the company-paid basic life insurance policy and company-paid short-term disability insurance (the benefit commences upon hire and allows for a portion of base salary for up to 26 weeks if you are disabled). Other benefits offered to employees include but are not limited to the following: long-term disability, supplemental life insurances, flexible spending accounts, critical illness insurance, group legal, identity theft protection, etc. Employees are also able to enroll in our 401k Retirement Savings Plan.
Employees will also receive 3 weeks of vacation, pro-rated based on date of hire for the 1st year of employment and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Vacation will depend on role.
