The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, oversee project execution from preconstruction through startup, and collaborate closely with engineering, fabrication, procurement, and field installation teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage process piping projects from award through closeout, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.

  • Coordinate engineering, detailing, fabrication, procurement, and field installation activities to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management efforts.

  • Coordinate fabrication schedules and installation sequencing to support efficient project delivery.
  • Facilitate project meetings with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, change management, cost control, and billing.
  • Identify and resolve field issues, constructability concerns, and schedule impacts in real time.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, 3-A Sanitary Standards, ASME BPE, GMP requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
  • Support project startup, commissioning, and turnover activities.
  • Mentor project engineers, coordinators, and field personnel as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience in process piping, industrial mechanical, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, or related process industries.
  • Demonstrated success managing projects independently from preconstruction through completion.
  • Strong understanding of hygienic and sanitary piping systems, including cleanability, drainability, material selection, and sanitary fabrication practices.
  • Experience managing fabrication-driven and field-installed piping projects.
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, fabrication drawings, and construction documents.
  • Strong financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, change order management, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to coordinate clients, vendors, subcontractors, engineering teams, and field personnel.
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Experience managing projects involving CIP/SIP systems, clean utilities, food-grade processing systems, or pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Fabrication CADmep, or similar industry software.
  • Knowledge of ASME BPE, 3-A Sanitary Standards, FDA/USDA regulations, and GMP environments.
  • Experience working for a mechanical contractor, process systems integrator, or fabrication-driven organization.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management training is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary: $80,000+ (based on experience and ability to contribute immediately)
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Opportunity to lead high-value, technically complex process piping projects
