Job description

Position Summary

The Floor Leveling Crew Leader/Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of self-leveling underlayment and floor preparation installations on commercial projects. This role leads multiple crews, ensures proper product installation, maintains strict quality control standards, and drives productivity across job sites. The Superintendent plays a key role in hiring, training, and developing crew members while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specification.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage floor leveling crews across multiple job sites
  • Oversee installation of self-leveling underlayment systems
  • Ensure proper surface preparation and substrate evaluation
  • Manage moisture testing and mitigation processes
  • Coordinate pump equipment setup and operation
  • Ensure proper mixing ratios, pour techniques, and cure standards
  • Maintain project schedules and manpower planning
  • Work closely with Project Managers and GCs
  • Hire, train, and develop crew members
  • Conduct performance evaluations and coaching
  • Participate in project and safety meetings
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure crew compliance with OSHA standards


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years in commercial floor leveling / self-leveling industry
  • 2+ years in leadership or superintendent role
  • Proven experience managing multiple crews
