Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC, (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.
Position Summary
Provides technical guidance, support and supervision for the Project Controls functions of planning, scheduling, cost
management, progress and performance analysis and reporting, as required to meet project scope and job requirements by
performing the following duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities

Under general direction, responsible for performing highly complex Project Control activities and/or supervises the
overall project controls requirements for a project or assignment.
Develops, implements and directs total Project Controls program on projects.
Prepare Schedule of Activities, Execution Plan, and Staffing Plan based on Execution Strategy.
Implements the Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structure to ensure data is converted correctly from the original
estimate to the Project Control system.
Analyzes variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicates the reason for the variance
and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management.
Contributes to the proposal efforts for cost/scheduling requirements.
Responsible for providing and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training and coaching to a team of
Project Control Specialists.
Performs review of project profit recognition.
Provides evaluation of opportunities with management
May serves as team leader on medium projects.
Determines the project scope of Project Controls services.
Prepares and issues the Project Controls section of the Project Execution Plan and Project Procedure Manual.
Defines the Project Controls Execution Strategy to accomplish the execution functions of planning, scheduling,
cost/finance management to meet project scope and job requirements.
Performs cost risk analysis and provides assistance in the identification and control aspects of the mitigation plan.
Advises project management on tactics to increase profits and identifies potential exposure areas and how to mitigate.
Assist proposal team with development of cost estimates and operating procedures for prospective projects.
Participate in development of the Project Business Plan and coordinate Commercial Alignment activities.
Leads proposal efforts for cost/scheduling requirements.
Interprets contract conditions to ensure compliance.
Maintain knowledge of safety policies and procedures and perform assigned duties in a safe manner.
Responsible for the safety of those being supervised and ensures they comply with established safety policies,
procedures and practice safe work habits.
Capable of performing many or all of the requirements of the lower classifications.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and typically six to ten years' related experience or equivalent
working knowledge and experience.
