Job Location: Edmonton, AB

Contract Length: 1 year

Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm daily (excluding weekends and statutory holidays) Overtime is not applicable.

Spirit Omega Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Administrator on behalf of our client to support the delivery of major transmission and infrastructure projects.

The Project Administrator provides administrative, financial, and system access support to project teams, enabling effective project execution, cost control, and compliance with organizational policies and procedures. This role supports onboarding and offboarding, contract and purchase order administration, invoice processing, and coordination across multiple systems and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to project managers and project teams.
  • Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and system access requests.
  • Maintain project documentation and SharePoint records.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, vendor payments, and financial documentation.
  • Monitor budgets, PO funding, and invoice approvals.
  • Support Oracle ERP activities including procurement, vendor setup, reporting, and contract administration.
  • Assist with contract compliance, change orders, and vendor communications.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and support Accounts Payable processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Project Administration experience supporting construction, engineering, utility, or capital projects.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of purchase orders, invoicing, and project financial controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
