Job description

Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Jupiter, FL | General Contractor | Healthcare & Commercial Construction

We're representing an established and growing General Contractor in Jupiter that's looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its team.

This is a great opportunity for a PM who wants to work for a contractor where you're trusted to actually run your projects, have direct access to senior leadership and aren't just another number in a huge organization.

The company has an excellent reputation in South Florida, a strong pipeline of work and is continuing to grow.

The Role

You'll take ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with the Superintendent, subcontractors, design teams and clients.

Day to day, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing projects from award through completion
  • Budget, cost and schedule management
  • Subcontractor procurement and buyout
  • RFIs, submittals and change orders
  • Owner and architect meetings
  • Managing project documentation and reporting
  • Working closely with field teams to keep projects moving
  • Identifying issues early and driving solutions
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and trade partners
  • Supporting projects through closeout and turnover

What We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with Project Managers who have experience working for a General Contractor.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience
  • Previous experience with a General Contractor
  • Experience managing projects through the full construction lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of budgets, schedules, contracts and subcontractor management
  • The ability to work closely with both field and office teams
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills

Healthcare construction experience would be particularly attractive, including hospitals, medical offices, imaging facilities, outpatient facilities and occupied healthcare renovations.

However, we're also interested in strong commercial PMs from other sectors who have the right GC background.

Why Consider It?

This isn't a huge corporate GC where you'll disappear into the system.

You'll join an established South Florida contractor with a strong local reputation, direct access to leadership and genuine opportunity to progress as the company continues to grow.

They want people who take ownership of their projects, build relationships with clients and want to become an important part of the business long term.

If you're a Project Manager in South Florida and would be interested in hearing more, apply through LinkedIn or reach out directly for a confidential conversation.
