Job description

TITLE: 21ST CENTURY COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER SITE ADMINISTRATOR
JOB DESCRIPTION: This employee is responsible for coordinating and implementing comprehensive activity-based after school program that incorporates enrichment, academic, physical activity, and family literacy activities. The program offers a wide range of services that may include tutoring, mentoring, literacy, enrichment, academic intervention, sports, arts, digital arts, and other prevention-oriented activities such as leadership development, community building, and service learning.
REPORTS TO: Principal
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Educational Level: Master's Degree and Leadership certification required
  2. Excellent communication skills with the ability to give written and oral reports
  3. Familiar with current data-gathering techniques and technology
  4. Able to analyze and interpret data
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of interviewing techniques
  6. Team-oriented attitude for training others in the program and a professional demeanor for interacting with stakeholders and program users.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Administrative Duties
  1. Maintain detailed and accurate records in the areas of: quarterly scheduling, scopes of work, program observations, staff files, project developments, meeting notes, student attendance, activities calendar, student files, and volunteers.
  2. Collect, file and update student registration packets.
  3. Monitor and input weekly attendance into Transact
  4. Manage program budget and expenses. Submit all timesheets, invoices, receipts, check requests, reimbursements in a timely manner.
  5. Communicate regularly and openly with Director and staff on program activities and events.
  6. Participate in staff and team meetings, supervision, trainings, group outings and other department sponsored or site sponsored events.

Supervisory & Program Quality
  1. Assist in the recruitment, hiring and training of program staff, local service providers and volunteers.
  2. Work with Director to evaluate and assess program activities.
  3. Maintain program relevance and program quality by incorporating evaluation feedback into the staff practices and program improvements.
  4. Work with Director and school staff to review curriculum(s), lesson plans, class deliverables, project based learning and other teaching and learning strategies and class outcomes.
  5. Be available and responsive for requests for site visits.
