SUMMARY: The Supply Chain Solutions Supervisor position is responsible for designing, executing, and finalizing local client implementations according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members, customer contacts, and other parties according to plan. This person will also define the projectโ€™s SCS objectives and ensure proper maintenance and repair schedules are followed after the implementation cycle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors
  • Responsible for promoting culture of safety
  • Provide local sales support in order to market solutions, evaluate customer sites, make recommendations to design and quote systems.
  • Help sales staff complete appropriate ROI and customer site documentation.
  • Participate and oversee the installation and service of inventory management solutions, both hardware and software at local customer locations.
  • Database development, importing, maintenance and backups.
  • Provide training for both BlackHawk Industrial and customer personnel.
  • Perform trouble shooting/problem solving, as needed.
  • Provide oversight, management and repair service for the mechanical and software features of vending and all other inventory management solutions.
  • Establish new databases and creation of web service accounts.
  • Define local project scopes, and deliverables that support overall business goals.
  • Develop complete implementation/project plans and associated communication documents.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in timely and clear fashion.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Conduct post implementation meetings and create a recommendation report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  • Build and develop any business relationships vital to the success of the project (on-going)
  • Assisting in reduction of overall dept OPEX, i.e.: Overtime and repair costs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  • Flexible during times of change, including the ability and willingness to travel up to 40%.
  • High level proficiency on the applications and procedures used, including software and hardware, specifically AutoCrib, CribMaster and other inventory management systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and SQL are necessary.
  • Ability to train and develop lead staff to perform support functions and execute trouble shooting measures.
  • High level of verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Will have direct supervisory responsibilities of Supply Chain Solutions Specialists, and Senior Supply Chain Solutions Specialists.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-6 yearsโ€™ experience in a similar position preferred.
  • Previous consulting or customer service experience preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of products to be managed and inventory management systems preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • None required
  • Software certifications preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Employee is regularly required to speak and understand English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to use computer and other equipment.
  • Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to _50_ pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to clearly focus vision. Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines. Frequent travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with customers, stakeholders, or off-site personnel.
  • Position will generally require a 40 to 50-hour workweek as standard. Overnight travel required on occasion, including weekends.
