Role Summary

Fanatics Collectibles is seeking an Associate Project Manager (APM) to join its project management organization. These critical roles form the backbone of Fanatics Collectibles and are responsible for ensuring that 50-75 new products are delivered to the market annually on-time and in accordance with our high standards.

We are looking for strong leaders with a problem solving mindset, a disciplined execution first approach, who thrive in complex settings with multiple stakeholders, and who have a relentless ability to drive alignment and "run through walls" to get things done. A passion for sports and the sport collectibles and merchandise ecosystem is a very welcome plus.

Fanatics Collectibles is organized by sports vertical. The APM will report to the Director of Project Management (E-Commerce) and is responsible for collaborating with a team domestically as well as internationally.

Key responsibilities

  • End-to-end ownership:ย Responsible for contributing to the success and on-time delivery of a complex global portfolio that encompasses over 75 programs annually. With a focus on tracking on-time delivery of the team's highest value assets.ย 
  • Vendor Management:ย Act as a liaison between Fanatics Collectibles and vendor/partners. Schedule regular check-ins. Hold all parties accountable for staying on task and on time.ย 
  • Delivery roadmap:ย Align and distribute a comprehensive timeline of milestones across the complete lifecycle of products internally and with external partners.
  • Performance management:ย Track and manage the status of products in the current portfolio, ensuring that transitions between departments and vendors happen efficiently and keeping programs on track.
  • Problem-solving:ย Proactively identify upcoming bottlenecks, shifting priorities and convene stakeholders to problem-solve and resolve them. Collaborate with subject matter experts to resolve escalations and complex issues.ย 
  • Escalation:ย Identify potential issues and prepareย materials for escalation when needed.
