Job description

Location: New York Metropolitan Area
Hybrid role: 2x days/ week at our NYC Showroom
Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
At 7th Avenue, we're redefining furniture for the modern home: where style meets real-life functionality. Our modular sofa, hailed as "The World's Greatest Modular Sofa," blends high-end design with everyday practicality. Now, we're looking for an Associate Project Manager to join our fast-growing team and support the expansion and ongoing operations of showrooms across North America.
Your Role in the 7th Avenue Experience
As a Associate Project Manager for Showroom Operations, you'll report directly to Lavinia Gabriele, our Manager of Showroom Operations. You'll be a key player in launching new showroom locations, maintaining existing ones, and driving process improvements that support our physical retail growth. From vendor management to timeline execution, your work ensures that every showroom reflects the premium 7th Avenue experience.
This is a Hybrid role with 2 days/week at our NYC Showroom. Travel will be required approximately 2x /month in the NY Metro Area and 1x/ month domestically.
How You'll Make an Impact
Lead Showroom Launches
  • Manage the full project lifecycle for showroom openings: from planning and procurement to on-site execution and final handoff
  • Coordinate with general contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless and timely buildouts

Support Operational Excellence
  • Act as the go-to problem solver for maintenance or operational issues at current showrooms, ensuring minimal disruption to sales teams
  • Conduct site visits to audit progress, uphold brand standards, and maintain quality control across locations

Drive Efficiency Through Data & Process
  • Track and maintain SOPs, vendor/contractor performance, and showroom KPIs
  • Analyze processes and identify cost-saving strategies and scalable solutions to improve overall efficiency

Own the Administrative Backbone
  • Review and manage contractor reimbursements, vendor receipts, and supply purchasing
  • Assist the Manager with large-scale strategic projects, while independently owning smaller initiatives

What You Bring to the Team
  • 2-5 years of experience in project management, operations, or retail development
  • Proven track record of managing complex timelines and cross-functional coordination
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay proactive with remote work
  • A problem-solving, solution-oriented mindset: anticipating needs and acting ahead of time
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects at once
  • Willingness to travel domestically
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup environment with shifting priorities

Why You'll Love Working with Us
  • Competitive Pay: Includes potential performance and showroom completion bonuses
  • Full Benefits Package: Health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with matching, and paid time off
  • Growth & Autonomy: Be part of a growing company where your ideas and initiative make a real impact
  • Recognition & Culture: Collaborative, fast-paced, and people-first

We're an equal opportunity employer and welcome individuals passionate about operational excellence and retail expansion. If you're excited to build something lasting and help define what luxury looks like in the modern showroom experience, we'd love to hear from you.
