Job Title: Project Architect III
Preferred Location: Orlando, FL. ~ We are also willing to consider people in these locations too: Phoenix, AZ or Ambler, PA
Reports To: Director of Architecture
Status: Full-Time | Exempt
Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Architect III to lead large or complex commercial retail store renovation or new construction design and build projects from concept through construction. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and deep knowledge of building systems and codes. Ideal candidates will have experience with big box, grocery, strip-malls, and convenience store builds.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead design, documentation, permitting, bidding, and construction administration
Coordinate with all disciplines (MEP, Structural, Civil, Interiors)
Perform advanced quality control and code compliance reviews
Provide cost estimates and manage scope, schedule, and budgets
Guide and mentor Project Architects I & II
Represent client interests in meetings and public hearings
Support proposals, marketing, and office leadership initiatives
Qualifications:
Licensed architect with 10+ years of experience
Strong background in commercial retail construction
Expert in technical detailing, construction methods, and project delivery
Proven leadership and mentoring skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Job Title: Project Architect II
Client Name: Cuhaci & Peterson
Preferred Location: Orlando, FL. ~ We are also willing to consider people in these locations too: Phoenix, AZ or Ambler, PA
Salary range: $90K-$125K ~ Salary can go up to $135K for people in PA.
Reports To: Director of Architecture
Status: Full-Time | Exempt
Overview:
We are looking for a licensed Project Architect II with at least 10 years of experience and a strong background in commercial retail store renovation or new construction design and build projects.This role leads complex projects from design through construction, oversees multidisciplinary coordination, and mentors junior staff. Ideal candidates will have experience with big box, grocery, strip-malls, and convenience store builds.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead design, documentation, and construction administration for multiple projects
Coordinate with engineering disciplines and manage permitting and bidding processes
Conduct quality control reviews and ensure code compliance
Provide technical leadership and mentor team members
Support business development, proposals, and client presentations
Represent client interests at public meetings and hearings
Maintain standards and deliver projects on time and within budget
Qualifications:
Licensed architect with 10+ years of experience
Deep understanding of commercial construction and building codes
Proven leadership in project management and team development
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Job Title: Project Architect I

Salary range: $90K-$1118K ~ Salary can go up to $130K for people in PA.
Reports To: Director of Architecture
Status: Full-Time | Exempt
Overview:
We're seeking a Project Architect I with 3 5 years of experience and a current architectural license. Ideal candidates have a strong background in commercial retail construction (e.g., big box, grocery, convenience stores). You'll lead design and documentation efforts, coordinate across disciplines, and support construction through permitting and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead design, construction documents, and permitting for retail projects
Oversee and coordinate with engineering and internal teams
Sign/seal drawings and ensure code compliance
Support bidding and construction admin (site visits, RFIs, change orders, etc.)
Mentor junior team members and ensure quality standards
Engage in client communications and proposal development
Qualifications:
Licensed architect with 3 5 years of professional experience
Strong understanding of commercial building systems and construction methods
Proficiency in leading multi-project documentation and coordination
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
